How long does it take?

My fastest student so far finished in about a week. He was able to take vacation time off from work, send his family off for a trip, and do nothing but the course. He had a prior intro stats course and knew Excel pretty well. He used public data to answer an interesting research question on the difference in average return on investment between “tech” and “non-tech” stocks over the last 15 years. [That was a two-sample t-test.] Everything went according to his plan.

But that is unusual. My sense is that most students take 4 to 5 calendar weeks, given the usual life/family/work demands. And it is not uncommon for students to take longer due to those life demands.

So, don’t feel pressured to rush through the course but know you can move quickly if you want to.
